Gathered concentrated oil burns during a controlled oil fire in the Gulf of Mexico May 5, 2010. The U.S. Coast Guard, which is working in partnership with local residents, federal agencies and BP, conducted the burn to prevent the spread of oil following the explosion of the mobile offshore drilling unit Deepwater Horizon April 20, 2010.
